Our Love Story.... Mark and I worked together at Woolworths Joondalup, we first met in 2006. Mark worked in the checkouts, and I worked in the Bakery. I had my eye on Mark from the first moment I met him. Boys being boys, never noticed my flirting, but he got the courage to ask me out over MSN (before facebook).

Our first date was on the 18th Feburary 2008 at the cinemas at Whitfords. We saw The Bucket List (was meant to go and see Jumper, but I got the time wrong…) we had been together 1.5 years when Mark joined the Navy. We were apart for quite a few years on and off with him learning the role in Melbourne, and then being away at sea. They do say absent makes the heart grow fonder, very true.

We moved in together when we had been together for 3 years, moving from North of the River to South of the River. Mark finally proposed on the 13th July 2014. It was very simple, but perfect, he proposed with Breakfast in bed.

Our wedding style was traditional meets a bit of nautical. I had a Princess style dress, my Bridesmaids were in Fuchsia Pink dress and the Grooms men and Page boy were in Slate Grey and Fuchsia Pink. We got married on the 24th October 2015 at St Michael the Archangel Chapel, and had our reception at the Pagoda Bar and Restaurant. Our reception style was where we brought a bit of the nautical feel. Thanks to Bree and her Husband Hermes from Wedding & Event Hire, we had a reception room of our dreams, we had the Love Boat as our wishing well, Nautical Table Numbers and a Custom Seating Plan with a nautical touch. Our colour theme was gold, cream and Fuchsia. The highlight of our big day would have been our first dance. The whole day went so quick, but could not have been any more perfect.
