OUR LOVE STORY...

Bradley and I met at a car show (Motorvation) back in January 2014 where we both had our pride and joys entered into the event. Ever since that weekend we have been inseparable and there was no denying that we were destined to be married and share our lives together. Even though Bradley works an unforgiving fifo roster the time and distance apart never stopped our love from growing stronger and stronger each day. 10 months into our "fairy tale" relationship after a romantic dinner and a walk along the beach Bradley got down on one knee under the starry sky and asked me to marry him.

One day I was out having lunch with a girlfriend when Brad sent me a picture of Caversham House and asked what I thought of the place, of course I replied with its beautiful! Unexpectedly Brad made the suggestion of making an appointment to view Caversham House when he flew in from work. A week or so later we were at Caversham House booking our wedding date. 6 short months later 17/05/2015, it was our big day! I was marrying my knight in shining armour.

On the morning of the wedding I felt an unbelievable amount of calmness. All the stress of planning a wedding had suddenly disappeared. Our ceremony was set to take place on the grand stairs of hidden gardens, but the worst had happened... Due to some of the worst rainfall Perth had seen in a decade the Swan river had flooded the gardens. We were devastated. Lucky we had a backup plan in place! I walked down the aisle to Mariah Carey's - Thank god I found you, arm in arm with my mother into Caversham House's garden house where I met my husband to be. He had the biggest smile on his face and just couldn't take his eyes off me.

Come time for photos we just had to go down to the grand stairs and at least capture a few moments and we were so glad that we did as the dark sky made perfect lighting and the bad weather had caused all these colourful autumn leaves scatter throughout the pathways of hidden gardens which made the most stunning backdrop.

Being that our hobby, our love for cars is what brought Bradley and I together, naturally we had to have "our babies" there with us on the day to capture some memories with.In the blink of an eye it was time to join our guests inside the house for wedding celebrations.

The room was lit up by Caversham House's stunning chandeliers and was decorated in white and gold. (And framed photos of our cars of course). The night was filled with so much love, joy and laughter, amazing food, drinks flowing, lots of dancing and great entertainment. I would definitely have to say the speeches were a highlight of the night for me. To hear Bradley share with our family and friends just how much love he has for me was so beautiful. If we could do it all again we would! Credits:
